Got dog seat belt n fits suv in back of driver seat, thats only position can fit the belt, but dont have chances to test it yet, so cant tell it gonna work on 23 lb dog or not, thx

The strap is light enough for a small dog, and is strong enough for a medium sized dog. my only concern is that the buckle is a bit sharp at the edges, which may cause the strap to erode over time, so i would suggest wrapping the contact-area with some tape.
